    Weak swimmers and weak of heart need not apply

    Plenty of drops, rocks and waterfalls were in store for pro kayakers John Kiffmeyer, Seth Warren, Tyler Bradt, Matt Rusher and Marion Sether. This isn't the Colorado River we're describing. It's the still-frigid rivers of the North Shore.

    If the runs look dangerous, getting to these drop sites isn't much easier. Thrill seekers need to descend the cliffs on ropes to reach a launch spot for their kayaks.
