In just 96 hours a team of volunteers and crew from the television program "Extreme Makeover: Home Edition" tore down a 100-year-old St. Paul home and built a brand new one in its place.
Not only will owner Sandy Rosario Morris and her two children get to enjoy their new living space but so will the many neighborhood children who will attend day care there.
“It’s not just day care, it’s a family and that's what we are. One big extended family," said Morris. It was Morris's day-care families that nominated her for the show.
In addition to the new home, the Morris children, Catricia and Mychal, received full scholarships to Concordia University.
