    Washington County wants to recycle your waste

    A new Environmental Center in Washington County is available to residents who need to find a place to recycle household hazards, automotive waste and electronics, among others. The center is also open free of charge to anyone in the surrounding counties. Not only can your drop off items at the center but you can also pick up free, unwanted, yet still usable, chemicals and products in the reuse room.

    The Washington County Environmental Center is located at 4039 Cottage Grove Drive in Woodbury. It will be holding an open house on Oct. 19 at 4 p.m., with a short opening ceremony.
