A 'Daily Show' gotcha: Fox News called out on video it misused in report on Bachmann rally
By Ken Ronnan | 11/17/09
MSNBC's Keith Olberman compliments "The Daily Show" on its catch that Fox News' Sean Hannity used videotape from a Sept. 12 rally mixed in with video from Rep. Michele Bachman's "Superbowl of Freedom" health-care rally. Doing so made the event appear to have a larger attendance than was actually there. (See "The Daily Show" catch below.) Clarence Page, columnist with the Chicago Tribune, talks with Olberman about the video misuse, finding it a real embarrassment to FOX.
"The Daily Show" with Jon Stewart takes a closer look at the trees in FOX News' video coverage of the Bachmann rally in Washington, D.C.
