MSNBC's Keith Olbermann and Eugene Robinson of the Washington Post cover the reactions of several Republican senators who voted against an anti-rape amendment introduced by Sen. Al Franken. The amendment passed 68-30 last month.
These Republicans, who were quoted in a Politico.com story Wednesday, claim that Franken was not doing enough to explain their views opposing the amendment.
Franken has said he certainly thinks it is unfair to say these Republicans are pro-rape.
Read more on the backstory to the amendment in this Oct. 20 MinnClip, which includes Jon Stewart's reaction to the vote results on "The Daily Show."
