In this two-part video, The Ramsey Washington Metro Watershed District, along with the University of Minnesota, study the impact of common carp in the Phalen Chain of Lakes. The goal of the study is to understand how game fish can control the carp population, how the carp move between lakes, and how large the population really is.
The first half features winter research, while the second half focuses on summer efforts and conclusions.
