Metropolitan Council employee Shoa Lee and St. Paul City Engineer John Maczko discuss the progress being made on the construction of the Central Corridor light-rail transit line, which will run from downtown St. Paul and connect with the already existing light-rail system in downtown Minneapolis.
"It is the largest public-works project every constructed in the state," Maczko said. Being able to accommodate businesses and traffic while construction is ongoing has been a challenge for the project. "It is kind of like remodeling your home while living in it at the same time," Maczko said.
