Drivers stand trained and ready to fight the snow and ice

About 104 students were back in a driver’s education classroom this month learning how to drive snowplows. The two-week training at Camp Ripley in central Minnesota was meant to teach drivers about the new technologies on the plows and to prepare them for the hazards of the season. Department of Transportation Training Coordinator Rick Shomion talks about the challenges plow drivers face on the road.
