Crafted to Last: Forthcoming film documents Minnesota craft-brew boom
By Tom Nehil | 11/15/12
Minnesota has been undergoing a brewery boom in the past few years, with a new brewery seeming to open its doors every week. With all these new brewers stirring the kettle, Minnesota craft beer now encompasses a huge variety of styles. To try to get a handle on just what Minnesota beer looks like these days, ‘Crafted to Last,’ a forthcoming documentary from CDDF Productions, talks to brewers from across the state about the beers they like to drink, the beers they like to brew and what makes for an ideal craft brew.

MN Craft Brew Project
Thanks for picking up what I'm putting down, Tom. We're still in the process of shooting the film, so folks should keep an eye out for us when they're out and about in MN. Ask your local brewers if they are participating in the film - we have room for more featured breweries and personalities.
Stop by our vimeo site, or connect with Bart Longworth on FB to keep tabs on the film as it moves toward release. An earlier trailer is available here: https://vimeo.com/channels/425768 The MN Craft Beer Project Channel which will be the main source for new material as it is created and released.
Rest assured that these trailers only hint at the trove of raw footage collected and to be collected. My goal is to create a film worthy of the beer and breweries that made it possible.
