Rep. Keith Ellison on changing culture of gun violence
By Tom Nehil | 12/17/12
Minneapolis Democrat Rep. Keith Ellison went on MSNBC's "The Ed Show" over the weekend to talk about what it will take to put an end to mass killings and gun violence of the kind that occurred in Newtown, Connecticut on Friday. Noting that some in Congress are already working to introduce stricter gun controls, Ellison calls for pressure at all levels — from the White House down — to stand up the gun lobby and get the laws passed. He also talks about the necessity of a cultural shift around guns.

gun violence
What we need to concentrate on controlling is the heavy artillery ordinary citizens can buy that mows down groups and allows the perpetrators to kill many. Obama's speech last night was right on target about all of us being responsible for every child.
