Here is a 2:32 timelapse video taken of the University of Minnesota's TCF Bank Stadium on game day -- everything from the cheerleaders' pre-game warmup to the marching band's halftime formations to departing fans' exit.
In what is sure to be another sea of maroon and gold, the Gophers will host Purdue this Saturday for their homecoming game. Please note: there is no audio with this clip.

Anyone looking to cut the grocery bill by about 40 percent may be interested in Fare For All, a program that is part of the nonprofit Emergency Foodshelf Network. Unlike some programs, though, Fare for All is open to anyone looking to save money on food costs.
Prices and packages range from a $10 vegetarian pack to the $17 regular pack, which includes up to three fruits, four meat items and five vegitables.
The program is always looking volunteers to help distribute the food.

After their incredible 12-inning victory over the Detroit Tigers last night at the Dome, clinching them the American League Central Division title, The Minnesota Twins will take on the New York Yankees tonight at Yankee Stadium. First off, Bill O'Reilly makes it clear he is not a Franken supporter: "I despise Al Franken. There's nothing about him I respect."
That is why the Fox News host asks Minnesota Gov. Tim Pawlenty here to look into possible fraudulent ACORN voter registrations as a factor in Sen. Al Franken's narrow election victory over Norm Coleman.
A recent report states that ACORN signed up 43,000 new voters for last November's election. With a recent undercover video showing controversial ACORN practices, O'Reilly said he is concerned with the legitimacy of the organization and the voter registrations it gathered.

Gov. Tim Pawlenty, on Fox News' "Your World with Neil Cavuto," repeated a joke he had heard about the Cash for Clunkers program, in which people could bring in their old, less-fuel-efficient vehicles and get a government rebate toward the purchase of a cleaner more-fuel-efficient vehicle.
This clip from "The Rachel Maddow Show" includes Maddow's conclusions about Pawlenty's message in telling the joke.

Ryan Evans has a dream. Evans wants to create a musical about life at an interactive sweatshop. It's a weird dream, but an attainable one. Ryan and his co-workers at Clockwork Active Media Systems, the company who created MinnPost's content management system, have released a teaser video featuring managing director Meghan Wilker on lead vocal performing Dolly Parton's hit "9 to 5." Tech director Matt Gray and support specialist Sharyn Morrow bring the funny, and the choreography would probably get their co-workers past the first round on "So You Think You Can Dance." Or maybe not. Enjoy...

To help prevent the spread of the invasive and destructive emerald ash borer, The Minnesota Department of Natural Resources is urging people not to transport firewood into or out of town. The best way to prevent the spread of the bug is to buy firewood in the area where you plan to burn it.
Also, don't give rides to hitchhikers dressed in emerald ash borer costumes.
The Minnesota DNR reports emerald ash borer were found in a St. Paul neighborhood this May and now threaten the 900 million plus ash trees that grow in Minnesota.
