Bachmann scheduled for 'Meet the Press' on Sunday

Congresswoman Michele Bachmann is scheduled to be on NBC's "Meet the Press" Sunday, aired at 9 a.m. here on Channel 11.

The show's website says: "Next Sunday: MTP goes to Ames, Iowa and 'Meet the Candidates' continues with Rep. Michele Bachmann."

That's the day after the Ames Straw Poll, so she'll certainly have lots to say about the outcome. We'll see if they ask about her family.

David Gregory will be far too terrified of being labeled a "sexist" by TeaParty people and women who opine that having a uterus automatically disqualifies one from tough questioning to ask Shelley any questions of consequence. No, Shelley will galvanize David with her goofy gaze, spin, spin, spin her Iowa-born wisdom, remind us she raised 106 foster children, and then shriek off to blow New Hampshire voters away with her amazing charisma. No, David will NOT ask her what she reads...

Please educate me on why someone like Bachmann is on "Meet the Press". Isn't there anyone in the major media who cares about facts any more?
