This contest has ended. See below for the winner.
It never really felt like summer, yet here it is: State Fair time. The folks at the fair posted the 2009 Food Finder last week to assist in finding your way from the deep-fried candy bar on a stick booth to the Scotch eggs on a stick booth.
MinnPost followers on Twitter, in a time when the subjects of health care and the obesity epidemic are front-page news, I invite you to proudly declare (tweet) your favorite Minnesota State Fair food! I, personally, vow to not leave the fairgrounds this year without inhaling the one-third pound slab of bacon, carmelized in maple syrup, and served, of course, on a stick.
Join Twitter, follow MinnPost, and tweet your answer, remembering to add #mp140 to your tweet. One Twitterer will receive two tickets to the 2009 Renaissance Festival in Shakopee. Winner will be announced Friday morning.
