Franken campaign withdraws 633 ballot challenges, claims it’s now ahead in recount

Al Franken's campaign unilaterally withdrew 633 ballot challenges today as the official recount in the Senate race with Norm Coleman lurches toward a Friday finish.
Lawyer Marc Elias said the 633 ballots were clearly challenged incorrectly by the Franken side.
He said the action is the start of the Franken campaign’s withdrawal of other contested ballots.
Elias added that, using his campaign's analysis, Franken's side now believes he is ahead by 22 votes in the recount.
