Assistant pastor to challenge Rep. Ellison

Joel Demos, an assistant pastor at Christian Life Center in Golden Valley, will seek the Republican endorsement to run against Rep. Keith Ellison, the Minnesota Independent reports.

Two others are also in the 5th District race, says MNINDY: "independent Lynne Torgerson and Barb Davis White, who was the GOP’s endorsed candidate against Ellison in 2008 but is seeking the Independence Party endorsement this year."
