Congresswoman Michele Bachmann has hired former state Republican chairman Ron Carey to be her new chief of staff.
The Star Tribune reports that Carey will start the new job on Monday.
Carey stepped down from the state-wide GOP post last summer. Tony Sutton is now the party chair.
Bachmann's former chief of staff, Michelle Marston, stepped down in November without really saying why.
