St. Paul's Humboldt High School on 'precautionary lockdown'
By Beth Hawkins | 05/07/10
St. Paul Public School officials confirm that Humboldt High School is on "precautionary lockdown protocol" following the possible sighting of a "taser-like device" earlier today.
Administrators emphasized that they are not sure a weapon was brought into the West Side school but put the school on lockdown to be safe.
While the report is being investigated, no one will be allowed in or out of the school. It's unclear whether students are confined to classrooms or are moving from class to class.
District spokeswoman Mandy Richie is at Humboldt and will provide news media and parents with more information as it becomes available.
