St. Paul Mayor Chris Coleman won't be in Oklahoma City this weekend for the U.S. Conference of Mayors' annual meeting, his office has confirmed. His daughter Molly graduates from high school Wednesday and he decided earlier that he wouldn't travel out of town for the conference.
An announcement earlier today from the conference of mayors, however, included Coleman's name with information about a conference panel on the problem of high school drop-outs.
"There are some important things being discussed about education at the conference, but Mayor Coleman won't be there," said Sara Grewing, his chief of staff.

I am pleased with Mayor Coleman's decision to attend his daughter's graduation. In this world, everyone seems so busy making their life. A person has to realize that your life begins and ends with your family. They are your core and i know his daughter is appreciative of this decision.
