Pawlenty to speak at major Tea Party summit in Arizona
Former Minnesota Gov. Tim Pawlenty has landed a major speaking spot at next week's Tea Party Patriots summit in Phoenix.
The Tea Party Patriot American Policy Summit is Feb. 25-27.
The group's website has this quote from Sarah Palin: “This summit offers a terrific opportunity for true American Patriots to hear from experts on issues like lowering taxes, balancing the budget and repealing Obamacare.”
The summit will focus on the group's "Five Pathways to Liberty": education, politics, judicial issues, economics and culture.
USA Today says in addition to Pawlenty's keynote speech, the summit will be addressed by other possible presidential contenders Rep. Ron Paul, R-Texas, and businessman Herman Cain.
Tea Party Patriots says it has 3,000 affiliated organizations and 15 million members.
