Tarryl Clark reportedly waiting in the wings to run again, but in which district?
Political commentator Blois Olson has an interesting update in his daily newsletter on Tarryl Clark, the former DFL state senator who lost in her bid to unseat Congresswoman Michele Bachmann in November.
Looks like Clark's planning another run for Congress, Olson notes, but where?
Says Olson:
FIRST: For the 2012 election there are many variables, but one element that appears to be ready to remain steady: fmr. State Sen. Tarryl Clark. After Clark appeared at the Oberstar retirement event in Duluth speculation has started to emerge that she is considering running against Rep. Chip Cravaack in CD8. Clark, who lives in St. Cloud, could be redistricted into the eighth, or could remain in CD6. Depending on Rep. Michele Bachmann’s 2012 plans, Clark could run again against Bachmann or in an open CD6. Advisors close to Clark have been consulted about media inquiries and potential strategy.

I certainly hope that she runs again, and don't really care if it in the 8th or the 6th. She is a very bright, hardworking and balanced political star, and would represet any Minnesota district well. It is simply a shame that the 6th district voters again worked against their own interest in electing the "shame of Minnesota".
