Gov. Dayton traveling to Iron Range on Friday

Gov. Mark Dayton will spend Friday visiting Iron Range sites and talking about economic development and jobs.
He'll be in Hibbing, Chisholm, Eveleth and Virginia, along with his newly appointed director of the Iron Range Resources and Rehabilitation Board, Tony Sertich.
The itinerary:
- Hibbing, 12:45 p.m., to talk with faculty and students about education and jobs on the Range.
- Chisholm, 2 p.m., to discuss the Central Iron Range Sanitary Sewer District bonding proposal and tour the Waste Water Treatment Center.
- Eveleth, 4 p.m., to see new jobs created at the Mesabi Range Community and Technical College, Eveleth Campus.
- Virginia, 4:30 p.m., to tour the Iron Range Engineering Program Mesabi Range Community and Technical College Virginia campus.
- Virginia, 6 p.m., Coates Hotel, where Dayton will speak at the annual Range Association Municipalities and Schools meeting about the investing in education and infrastructure to promote job growth on the Iron Range and across Minnesota.
