If only we could score a meeting with Mr. Donovan. Our non-profit has been trying to work with two of his Admin people who have caused a huge problem for low income home buyers in Minnesota. Because of their "interpretation" of RESPA, they have instructed Minnesota real estate professionals to disclose certain seller fees as buyers' fees. This triggered the state Realtor Association to change their Purchase Agreement form to shift these fees. We're talking about $1.5 million per month for buyers. We believe the HUD officials are wrong, and we're pretty sure Mr. Donovan has no idea about this problem.
