Minnesota teachers taking buses to Saturday's Madison rally
By Joe Kimball | 03/11/11
Dozens of Minnesota teachers and teacher union officials will ride buses to Madison Saturday to take part in a union rally against the Wisconsin Legislature's action this week to strip collective bargaining rights from public workers' unions.
Three motor coaches will leave at 8 a.m. from the Education Minnesota office in St. Paul; all the buses are full, but there is a waiting list.
The 3 p.m. rally at the state Capitol in Madison is expected to attract thousands.
After the rally, the buses will return to St. Paul, arriving about 10 p.m.

Well Minnesota's teachers are following the corrupt Wisconsin teachers play book and guess what their next!
It is about time Minnesota Teachers Union came alive.
At least the Minnesota teachers went on a weekend, instead of taking off a school day, pretending they were sick, getting a fake doctor's note excusing their absence, and forcing the taxpayers to subsidize their political activism.
Some friends and I drove over. Glad we did.
