Gingrich and Bachmann headline tonight's Minnesota Family Council dinner

The timing was perfect for the Minnesota Family Council; just days before its annual dinner tonight, the headliner speaker, Newt Gingrich, announced he's in the race for president.

The next question: When will the dinner's special guest, Congresswoman Michele Bachmann, announce?

Gingrich will sign books prior to the 7 p.m. dinner at the downtown Minneapolis Hilton. Tickets were $100 in advance.

The Minnesota Family Council says its mission is "to strengthen the families of Minnesota by advancing biblical principles in the public arena."

Newt Gingrich, Strengthening Families. Too funny!

I'm pretty safe in saying that Newt is a "pick and choose" Bible reader.
