Gov. Dayton to consider three judge finalists

Three finalists for a state judge position have been sent to Gov. Mark Dayton for consideration.
The Commission on Judicial Selection recommended these candidates for the job in the district that includes Carver, Dakota, Goodhue, LeSueur, McLeod, Scott and Sibley counties:
- Ann Offerman, an assistant Dakota County Attorney in the Adult Criminal Prosecution Division and former state assistant attorney general.
- Arlene Perkkio, an attorney who primarily represents individuals accused of crimes and had been a criminal training specialist for Ramsey County District Court.
- Chris Wilton, an assistant United States attorney and former assistant Ramsey County attorney.
