As expected, Minneapolis Mayor R.T. Rybak and City Council President Barbara Johnson will disclose details of a plan to help build a Vikings stadium on the Metrodome site, renovate aging Target Center and, according to a news release, "lower Minneapolis property taxes."
Timbewolves owner Glen Taylor, a once-powerful Republican legislator from Mankato, will also attend a briefing for reporters, along with members of the Minneapolis business community and union leaders, a city release says.
Apparently, no Vikings representatives will attend.
