No overnight news on a budget resolution, but Gov. Mark Dayton and Republican legislators will meet again this morning at 10 a.m.

They’ll meet in the governor’s office.

With no agreement, the shutdown starts Friday, with only essential state services funded for the duration.

  1. Even if they cut a deal before lunch, there’s not time to call a special session and pass a full budget.

    This sucks.

  2. They’ve all failed the people of Minnesota: legislators, governor, Republicans, Democrats.
