Vote on hot issues in House poll at State Fair
By Joe Kimball | 08/24/11
The annual Minnesota House of Representatives State Fair Poll asks residents about some of the big issues facing the Legislature. Some of this year's topics are:
- The constitutional amendment on marriage
- State budget showdown
- Expansion of the sales tax to clothes
- The use of two lines while fishing
- Publicly funded pre-school for all
- Expanded state gambling
- Voter ID
You can vote on those issues and more at the House booth in the Education Building.
More like this
- Voter ID issue advances at Capitol, but facts continue to get in the way
- Coleman-Franken Senate race was bad, but the recount process will be worse
- Legislature might consider an ‘early voting’ system for Minnesota
- Hopes drained for Sunday liquor sales bill, even though poll says most want it
- State Fair poll shows more prefer budget cuts than tax hikes

Is this a legit poll or are we going to be treated to probing questions such as "I oppose the waste of government money"?
Yep, looks legit.
After being unemployed for almost two years now, it would be a great gesture to publish this poll online so all Minnesotans could cast their votes. Not everyone can afford to go to the state fair this year. Let all Minnesotans who wish to participate have the chance to do so. Lets make this poll fair to all. Let us see how all Minnesotans feel about these issues, no hust a select few. Post the poll online. Let our votes be counted too.
Someone needs to let them know they spelled 'cellular' wrong in #11.
