Rep. John Lesch makes (Holi)dazzling proposal, and she says yes
State DFL Rep. John Lesch of St. Paul made quite a production last month when he surprised girlfriend Melissa Reed with a marriage proposal while the couple, friends and family watched the Holidazzle parade in downtown Minneapolis from an overhead skyway.
Lesch has posted a video of the carefully staged event on YouTube.
Reed is a lobbyist for the city of Minneapolis. Santa Claus and the mayors of St. Paul and Minneapolis all make cameo asppearances in the video.
She said yes.
