Republican presidential candidate Rick Santorum will speak at an Eden Prairie church Sunday and then head to Bemidji for more pre-caucus appearances.
Santorum is scheduled to speak during the 9:30 a.m. service at Grace Church in Eden Prairie, says Edina Patch.
The Bemidji stop includes a visit to the Bemidji Woolen Mills company, which is supplying sweater vests for his campaign. He'll also have a community photo opp at the city's Paul Bunyan and Babe statues, says the Fargo Forum.
Even without our two home-state candidates in the race, Minnesota is once again a hot spot, however briefly, in the presidential race on the eve of the non-binding caucuses on Tuesday. (But we don't plan to revive the MinnPotus column.) Santurum was here on Monday, too; Mitt Romney was here Wednesday and Ron Paul has stops scheduled here on Saturday and Monday.
