Singer/actor Pat Boone endorses Minnesota voting amendment in video
By Joe Kimball | 09/12/12
Pat Boone can be seen in a two-minute YouTube video endorsing the proposed constitutional amendment on voting that will be on the Minnesota ballot in November.
Boone, a singer and actor who came to prominence in the 1950s, has been a political supporter of many conservative and religious issues.
The video was produced by Voter ID for Minnesota, a group supporting passage of the amendment, which would require voters to show a government-issued ID before casting a ballot, and make other changes to voting procedures.

What Pat's endorsement says
With Pat Boone endorsing this legislation you just know that this is the perfect bill to function as the foundation of a police state. Pat is conservative, Pat likes control, and Pat is afraid. So of course more control is needed to make sure some folks can't vote, because they're not voting right in the fiirst place, which would be voting Pat's way.
No surprise here
Pat Boone is such a supporter of Republicans they can practically drag him out any time they need a spokesperson to say whatever nonsense they want.
According to Wikipedia:
On August 29, 2009, Boone wrote an article comparing liberalism to cancer, likening it to "black filthy cells".
In 2009, Boone stated his belief that Barack Obama is not eligible to serve as the President of the United States. Boone also has stated that Barack Obama is fluent in Arabic and read the Koran in Arabic as a boy. He has also stated that President Obama "hasn’t celebrated any Christian holidays in the White House."
Boone received a lifetime achievement award at the 38th annual Conservative Political Action Conference held in February 2011.
Pat & Sherrif Joe
It's nice that Pat took the time to record the spot since he was busy with the tea party event starring sheriff Joe. Oh, wait, that just got cancelled........
Here are a few other thoughts from Pat Boone...
