By Joe Kimball | 02/20/13
Gov. Mark Dayton has appointed Tony Sertich to a seat on the Duluth Seaway Port Authority, which oversees the Lake Superior port in Duluth.
Sertich, a former DFL legislator, also serves as head of the Iron Range Resources and Rehabilitation Board. Dayton appointed him to that position in 2011.
Sertich's term on the Port Authority board will run until January 2019.
The board consists of seven commissioners — two appointed by the governor, two by the St. Louis County Board and three by the Duluth City Council.
