    It's road show time for GOP convention planners

    Local planners of the Republican National Convention take their show on the road next week, with a press briefing at the National Press Club in Washington, D.C.

    St. Paul Mayor Chris Coleman and Minneapolis Mayor R.T. Rybak will be there, too, along with Cyndi Lesher of the Host Committee, to fill in the national press corps on plans for the Sept. 1-4 convention in St. Paul.

    The session will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at the National Press Club's Murrow Room, 529 14th St. NW, in case you want to go.
