Jeff Blodgett, who was manager of Paul Wellstone's Senate campaigns, will lead the Barack Obama for President effort in Minnesota. The appointment will be officially announced later today.
Blodgett's title will be state director. He will start July 1 and will be on leave of absence from his job as executive director of Wellstone Action, a Minnesota-based project that trains leaders for the progressive movement.
