Now that the Republicans have taken over the Xcel Energy Center and are converting the downtown St. Paul home of the Minnesota Wild into the centerpiece of the Sept. 1-4 Republican National Convention, access to the arena is extremely limited.
But they graciously put up a video on YouTube so we can all watch, via proxy, the transformation process.
In the first week, they removed 3,000 seats, built workspace for staff and media, and began technological enhancements.
