Touring CNN election exhibit at Mall of America next week

By Joe Kimball | Published Mon, Aug 25 2008 3:09 pm

The Mall of America will get plenty of business from delegates and visitors to the Republican National Convention; it is, after all, a shopping landmark known throughout the world. (And, don't forget, visitors, there's no sales tax on clothing in Minnesota.)

But the megamall is also using the convention as a way to engage folks in political debate by hosting the CNN Election Express Yourself Tour. It has hands-on exhibits, online interaction, video portraits and personalized election memorabilia, according to its website.

The exhibit will be on display Sept. 3 and 4 during mall hours, at the Sears Court and North Parking Lot.
