    Historian Doris Kearns Goodwin addressing today's annual Planned Parenthood event

    Historian and author Doris Kearns Goodwin will speak tonight at the annual Planned Parenthood fundraising dinner in Minneapolis.

    Goodwin won the Pulitzer Prize for history in 1995, and her recent biography of Abraham Lincoln's disparate cabinet, "Team of Rivals," is the basis for an upcoming Steven Spielberg film.

    The event at the Minneapolis Hilton begins at 6 p.m. with a silent auction and reception. Proceeds benefit Planned Parenthood Minnesota, North Dakota, South Dakota. For more details, check here.
