    Al Franken condemns vandalism at homes of Norm Coleman, other GOP office-holders

    Al Franken's campaign issued this condemnatory response to the reports of vandalism at the homes of Sen. Norm Coleman and other Republican office holders. The announcement — from Andy Barr, communications director — came shortly after noon:

    "Al, Franni, and everyone here at the campaign strongly condemn this and all other such cowardly acts of vandalism. There's no place for this unacceptable behavior in our political process, or in our communities."
