    Al Franken has a very 'full plate' today

    Senate candidate Al Franken is going to be exhausted, and probably full, tonight, when he joins former President Bill Clinton for a 7 p.m. rally in Minneapolis.

    Here's his schedule for the day:

    9 a.m., he was at the Masonic Lodge in Rochester with 1st District Rep. Tim Walz, Sen. Tarryl Clark and former Congressman Rick Nolan for a pancake breakfast.

    Noon, a chili feed with the same co-stars at the Elks Lodge in Owatonna.

    1:15 p.m., rally, and presumably coffee for a burst of energy, at Java Live in Faribault, where 2st District congressional candidate Steve Sarvi joins the group.

    3 p.m., rally at Mankato State University's student union. No mention of food, but that college fare can be filling.

    And then the nightcap: 7 p.m., doors open for Clinton rally, billed as a combined Obama-Franken affair, at the Minneapolis Convention Center.
