Last Monday, I posted a Political Agenda item about a proposed green roof at Target Center.
I noted then that the story was posted before I could get a comment from the responsible official at the Minneapolis Community Planning and Economic Development department.
The rush to post the item resulted in errors; the cost comparison made in the story was inaccurate because of the wider scope of the project; the payback for the added cost can be attributed to the longer useful life of a green roof, compared with a traditional roof; the city will seek sponsorship to cover some of the proposed green roof's costs.
In Community Voices today, CPED's Kristin Guild explains the errors in my item.
