Gov. Tim Pawlenty is in Washington today heading a meeting the Strategic Management of Human Capital (SMHC) in Education Task Force Meeting. He's the chairman.
The group's job is to "share and implement nationwide effective practices to recruit, train, retain and reward top teacher and school administrator talent."

Pawlenty will be the 2008-09 chair of the Education Commission of the States.
