    Coleman as RNC chair?

By Eric Black | Published Wed, Nov 19 2008 4:37 pm

A Republican senator recently told a group of reporters that "somebody like Norm Coleman” would make a excellent chairman of the Republican National Committee. This was reported in a blog on the Washington Times website. The senator who made the remark was not named and spoke on condition of anonymity. The DFL put out a press release linking to the item, as if the anonymous senator’s remark indicates that Coleman is expected to lose the recount, but that seems like a stretch. In any event, it doesn’t prove anything.
