Minnesota's 6th District Rep. Michele Bachmann has started a blog, “The Majority Tracker,” which she says will highlight the Republican minority’s policy alternatives that are often overlooked by the Democrat majority.
Find it here.
Describing it, Bachmann said: “With the Democrats in control of Washington, it’s vital that the Republican minority not only present its own alternatives, but that Americans know what those alternatives are. This is especially important since the Democrats made their first item of business to silence the Republican minority with restrictive rules.”
The congresswoman promises "a day-by-day listing of key legislation before the House, including a link to how legislators voted, any amendments that Republicans attempted to present but were rejected, and alternative legislation that Republicans would have put forth if they were in control of the House."
“The goal of the blog is to serve as a one-stop-shop for bloggers, reporters, and constituents to get the whole story of what’s taking place in the U.S. House of Representatives,” she said.
This may be a groundbreaking development, because how often do we get "the whole story" from any partisan blog?
