The Hennepin County Board is looking for ways to save money and wants residents to offer suggestions.

Residents can submit their ideas to a digital suggestion box on the county website or by using traditional suggestion boxes, which will soon be available at all 41 county libraries and the seven county service centers.

“Residents have good ideas on how we can cut costs and operate more efficiently,” says Commissioner Jan Callison. “It’s just common sense to have them share their suggestions with us. It’s important that we listen and provide easy access for them to communicate with us. If possible, we will translate what we hear into policies that get results.”
