    Mayo CEO to be C-SPAN analyst after Obama speech

    A new talking head will be introduced to the nation tonight when Dr. Denis Cortese, the Mayo Clinic's CEO, appears as an analyst on C-SPAN after President Obama's speech to a joint session of Congress.

    Cortese will be on a panel of commentators who will answer questions about the president's plans for health and health-care reform, according to the Rochester Post Bulletin.

    Cortese will be speaking from a Mayo studio in Rochester. The speech will run from 8 p.m. (CST) to about 9 p.m., followed by a Republican response. The panel members are expected to begin commentating at about 9:30 p.m.

    Cortese and other Mayo leaders met with members of Congress and the Obama administration during the week before the president's inauguration.
