In yet another computer database problem, the Minnesota Independent is reporting today that some of former Sen. Norm Coleman's campaign donors have received letters stating that some of their private information has been revealed.

Back in January, some hackers (Web enthusiasts, MI calls them), apparently discovered that a list of campaign donors and detailed information about them, including addresses and credit card numbers, was not properly protected from prying eyes and keyboards.

Now, MI says, the Web site Wikileaks has emailed those donors, alerting them that the site has revealed some of their information.

“'We understand that Norm Coleman became aware of the leak in January,' the note reads, in part," says the MI story.

The Hill is reporting today that Coleman’s campaign is encouraging supporters who think they might have contributed to the campaign to cancel their credit cards.
