It seems to be trendy to complain about how long the Al Franken-Norm Coleman recount/election contest process has dragged on.
But WCCO-TV's Esme Murphy really struck a nerve with a question she asked on her blog Sunday. She reacted to Coleman lawyer Joe Friedberg's comments on KFAN last week that Coleman was positioning himself for an appeal because it looked as if Coleman was headed for defeat before the three-judge panel.
"If Friedberg is correct and Coleman loses, should he appeal or should he concede?" Murphy asked on her blog.
It’s triggered, so far, a whopping 109 comments, most calling for Coleman to concede.
It's not scientific, and web comments aren't always articulate, but it's got to reflect a certain mass of public sentiment, no?
