    The Pawlentys and trade delegation are in Chile, where it's 76 and sunny

    While the first major snowstorm of the season hits Minnesota, Gov. Tim Pawlenty and a Minnesota trade delegation today are in Santiago, Chile, as part of a South American tour to drum up business for the state.

    Temperature there: 76 and sunny. Good timing, trade delegation. My neighbor got out of town the other day, too.

    The governor and Mary Pawlenty meet with U.S. Ambassador to Chile Paul Simons this afternoon. Then tonight, they and the delegation attend a welcome dinner hosted by Simons and sponsored by the Minnesota Soybean Research and Promotion Council.
