    Bachmann staff changes: press secretary leaves as new chief of staff comes on board

    Another change in U.S. Rep. Michele Bachmann's Washington staff: Debbee Keller, the press secretary for less than a year, is leaving.

    Politico reported Keller's email to friends:

    Friends and colleagues,

    I am excited to announce that starting today I will be serving in a new role as Communications Director for Rep. Paul Broun. I am extremely grateful for the opportunities I had working as Rep. Bachmann’s Press Secretary, and I am excited to use those experiences to take on this new opportunity and responsibility.

    The 6th District GOP representative has a new chief of staff coming Monday: Ron Carey, the former chairman of the Minnesota Republican Party. He replaces Michelle Marston, who stepped down in November without really saying why.

    Politico takes a shot at the changes, calling it "Bachmann turnover overdrive."
