    Hard hats lobby hard for jobs at Capitol rally

    Hundreds of construction workers in hard hats -- most out of work, or they wouldn't have had the time -- showed up at the Capitol Wednesday urging legislators to take action that will create more jobs.

    Mary Lahammer of TPT has some pictures and notes that she saw a Vikings poster in the crowd, presumably because there'd be lots of construction jobs at a new stadium site.

    A bonding bill that will fund many building projects apparently will be signed by the governor, although he's likely to line-item veto some of the DFL-supported projects that bring the bill to $1 billion.
